The UFC and Affliction Shirts Rivalry

Category: affliction shirts @ 5:34 am

Affliction—the company popular for Affliction shirts—has promoted their first show, named as Banned. This company is owned in part by Randy Couture, the present-day UFC Heavyweight Champion. Yes, the UFC Heavyweight Champion is promoting a clothing brand outside the league. And now something’s happened. Here’s the story.

Randy Couture has threatened to end his present UFC contract. He has cited disrespect and asked for compensation and appreciation. He is also not quite happy about the fact that UFC hasn’t signed up the number one heavyweight in the world at present, Fedor Emilianko. He is actually looking forward to have one ultimate fight in his much-colored professional life. And he wants to have this ultimate fight with someone who is now ranked as the best heavyweight in the world. Randy Couture doesn’t want to show anyone anything—he’s far too established to think about that—but he says that he wants to give people the chance to see a fight among the two bests. Randy Couture had earlier beaten Tim Sylvia and Fedor Emilianko is touted to fight him now. Now, Randy Couture has planned to let his contract get expired so that he can obtain permission from the courts to fight Fedor Emilianko.

Today, the UFC definitely stands as the most popular name in the MMA world. Since November 2008, Randy Couture has quit the UFC, while some people maintain that he has retired. He expects to be a rival for an extremely busy corporate now. Banned shows Randy Couture’s best fight challenge in the history of the MMA. Affliction has been a huge clothing company since ever—especially known for Affliction shirts and similar products—and now the UFC has banned them because of their association with Randy Couture. One of Affliction’s other partners is Donald Trump, the person no one doesn’t know. The show is all set to begin on the 19th of August and everyone is quite eager for it to start airing. To contend this, UFC has billed its top show on the same day featuring Anderson Silva fighting in a whole new category of 205 lbs.

Everyone’s waiting for the 19th. Will Affliction of Affliction shirts get the eventual nod or will UFC? What will happen at the turnout of this multimillion dollar event? Someone will lose millions, that’s for sure. Only time will tell who of them will. For the viewers, of course, it is time for a big double bonanza.
